1. Initial Project Review
Send us the site address, development plans and any existing information about Japanese knotweed or other invasive plants. This may include ecology reports, previous surveys, planning documents, site photographs, ground investigation information and the proposed construction programme.We review the material and advise on the most appropriate next step.
2. Site Survey and Mapping
Our specialists inspect the site, identify the species present and map the known affected areas.The survey considers previous disturbance, neighbouring land and the relationship between the infestation and the proposed development.
3. Development Constraints and Remediation Options
We explain how the infestation may affect the scheme and present the practical remediation options. This includes consideration of programme, access, soil movement, waste, containment and future land use.
4. Cost and Programme Coordination
We work with the developer and project team to refine the preferred strategy. The selected approach can then be reflected within the development appraisal, design, programme and tender information.
5. Remediation and Biosecurity
